Chamber member, CzepigaDaly, employs Dementia Specialist

CzepigaDaly’s Geriatric Manager Elected to Professional Association and Credentialed as Certified Dementia Specialist

Berlin, CT – January 7, 2013: Linda Worden, a geriatric care manager for the elder law and estate planning firm CzepigaDaly, has been elected to the New England Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.  She also recently completed the requirements of the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and is now a credentialed Certified Dementia Specialist.

“Linda is always looking for ways to maximize our senior clients’ independence and well-being,” says Paul Czepiga, a principal of CzepigaDaly. “Her position within these two professional organizations demonstrates her deep personal commitment to the elderly and their families. Many of our families are struggling with dementia care issues and find Linda’s knowledge and guidance invaluable.”

A geriatric care manager is a health and human services specialist who helps families who are caring for older relatives. CzepigaDaly is one of the few elder law firms that include a geriatric manager on their staff.

“Since our holistic approach to planning for our client’s futures involve way more than having the right documents in place, it makes perfect sense to have someone on staff who can address important issues including when to move a loved one or who to turn to for help with daily living,” says Brendan Daly, a principal of the firm.
